A special class JUST FOR YOU and YOUR GUESTS!! Introduction class to the basics of sugar cookie decorating!

Price: Will be determined based on the number of cookies, participants, location, and difficulty level of class. Price per person starts at $50 per person with a minimum of 5 paid spots and a maximum of 20 depending on the location. The minimum cost for a private class is $250.

Date: Determined by Host and my availability

Class Time: 1.5-2 hours of instruction (plus 30 minutes set up and take down time)

Theme: I have several options to choose from, or the host can select a theme

Level: Beginner

Location: The class will be held at the home, clubhouse, or venue provided by the host. If the host does not have a space to hold the class, arrangements may be made with Siesta Cookie Company to provide the location for an additional fee.

Only those invited by the host will attend; this will be a private class no tickets will be sold to the public. There will be a set minimum/maximum number of guests. The host is responsible for getting everyone together. Siesta Cookie Company will bring all the supplies needed.

The host is responsible for providing a home, venue, or space with adequate workspace & chairs for each participant. The location must have access to a bathroom or sink for washing hands. The host is responsible for conveying start & end times to participants, and these will need to be upheld & followed throughout the class. The class will start and end on time. If participants are late, they can join in where the class is or choose to take their kit home to complete.

This class is for anyone who is looking to have fun learning a new skill. Whether you want a host a shower, bachelorette party, team-building activity, a girls-or-guys-day-out, or want to explore what cookie decorating is with your group of friends or family, y'all will have a blast!

Everything your guests will need to decorate the cookies is provided, along with me as their instructor to help every step of the way. I will bring all the tools, cookies, decorations, and instructions. All you need to provide is the guests, location, tables, and chairs. Have everyone bring a smile and maybe an apron if they're a messy decorator.

Each class will include the following for each participant:

5-6 yummy cookies to decorate
3-4 bags of fun colored icing and matching sprinkles - guests will keep any leftovers
Live step-by-step instructions with an easy-to-follow handout
To-Go boxes to safely take completed edible artwork home to dry

The class will start promptly to ensure we can get through all the cookies and have time for pictures with your guests and their creations.

DIY/Add-on Kits:

You and your guests can also order an additional sugar cookie class kit to take the class home to teach a child or friend! The kits are also great for using to practice decorating the set again. The class kits come with everything that will be used in class to follow our step-by-step instructions from home! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before the class and will need to be preordered.

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your cookies and icing, your kits can last for a week or longer at room temperature. The cookies are heat-sealed for freshness. Freezing cookies keeps them fresh for a long time, but the icing will become looser even if frozen. I recommend using your kit as soon as possible.

Payment:

Prepayment in full is required for the group and will be paid by the host. The host is responsible for collecting any money from guests.

Class Cancelation Policy:

We know that emergencies and life happen. Partial refund minus the cost of special cutters, and processing fee with more than 3 weeks notice. Class may be rescheduled with 2 weeks or more notice. You may be able to reschedule a class, with a change in the date one time. There will not be any refunds for classes booked less than 2 weeks out.

Classes may be canceled at my discretion due to illness, or weather. This rarely happens, but in the event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund, including your processing fees.

Allergens: Heads up – these cookies include the following ingredients: Wheat flour, butter, granulated and brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, may include almond extract (no nuts), baking powder, and salt. The royal icing contains the following ingredients: Powdered sugar, meringue powder(made with eggs), corn syrup, food coloring, and vanilla extract. Please note: Although all equipment is thoroughly cleaned, these cookies are prepared in a kitchen where I also cook/bake with common, known allergens: Wheat, milk, eggs, soy, shellfish, peanuts, and tree nuts. Please consider your guests' allergies before scheduling.
